One of the mistakes on twitter has ended up Bollywood actor Ranveer singh hooked up in a mess. Recently, The famous English football club Arsenal’s brand ambassador became a victim of criticism on the social media.
Ranveer, who was actively supporting his team on Sunday on a match against Nottingham Forest, tweeting every update of the match. The team fielded by Arsene Wenger was a fairly young team without the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. But surprisingly Arsenal ended up losing the game 4-2. The game was an action packed one with gunners conceding two penalties in second half. During this time, he was making a premier league tag in his every tweet instead of the FA Cup tag.
He was so displeased with the match as he was a known Arsenal fan and took on twitter to express his displeasure. It wasn’t hard to notice and soon some people corrected the actor for this mistake
But soon trolls appeared on social media pinpointing his act.
One person wrote “We know you are the brand ambassador of the premier league, but this doesn’t mean that you can tag it in other tournaments.”
Another one reads “Maybe you were asked to tag the premier league as an angel, but this is FA Cup.
A majority of fans teased him for his tweet as he claims to be a die-hard fan of Arsenal still unaware of the competition they are playing.
Soon his fans came over justifying his act, as he tagged the Premier League because he is the official brand ambassador for the competition. Another set claimed that he tagged the Premier League account because Arsenal is competing in PL too.
Meanwhile, after realising the mistake Ranveer singh posted the rap of the movie Gulli Boys on instagram. Soon the post became increasingly viral. It is said, Alia Bhatt will pair him in the movie Gulli Boys which is directed by Zoya Akhtar. Apart from this film Ranveer Singh is going to hit the screens as the legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev and the film has been titled as ‘83’. He has also been signed for the next Rohit Shetty film ‘Simba’ in the lead role.
